Rakel Mjöll (lead vocals), Alice Go (guitar and vocals) and Bella Podpadec (bass and vocals) met at Brighton Art School and were formed as a performance art project. Oozing girl power, their music juxtaposes simple pop hooks, cutting riffs and screamy-dreamy vocals, nodding to Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Blondie, but in a far grittier and contemporary way. With singles ‘Somebody’, ‘Fire’ and ‘FUU’ (work it out), Dream Wife promise to be one of the most fierce – and most fun – artists on the tour. Joining the band on the tour will be These New South Whales with local support from Moaning Lisa (Syd) and Press Club (Melb)
