Los Angeles band/art project julie exploded onto the scene with their wildly popular debut single ‘flutter’ in 2020 and in the four years since have opened for the likes of Alex G and Faye Webster. Combining the fuzzier parts of shoegaze with elements of grunge and post-punk, they stomp over genre and stylistic bounds on their heavy-hitting debut album my anti-aircraft friend.

Multidisciplinary artists through and through, julie created every element of the record – music, artwork, videos, packaging, and even some of the instruments they play on stage. In February 2025, julie bring their project to Australia for the first time, performing at Sydney’s Factory Theatre and Corner Hotel in Melbourne.
